Take a step back in time to the New Mills Corn and Flax Mill. Visitors to New Mills can experience the pleasure of seeing one of the largest waterwheels in Ireland in action as it drives the machinery of the corn mill.

Glebe House and Gallery

Why not take a tour of the Glebe House and Gallery which houses the Derek Hill Art collection. Glebe House is a regency house (1828) set in woodland gardens decorated with William Morris textiles. The collection includes 300 works by leading 20th century artists including Picasso, Kokoschka as weIl as Irish and Italian artists.

Colmcille Heritage Centre

Why not follow the footsteps of Saint Colmcille, at the Colmcille Heritage Centre. The story is told with artistically designed banners, stained glass, illustrated panels, artifacts, a wax model with authentic clothing and a step-by-step illustration of ancient manuscript fabrication.
