Travelling from Letterkenny (R250) after going through Churchill village take first turning on the left at sign marked Gartan Outdoor Centre. Glendowan House B&B is approximately 5 kilometres along the road, about 3 kilometres beyond Glendowan Chapel.

Travelling from Glenveagh National Park take first turning on the right before Churchill village at signposts marked for Glendowan Chapel and Gartan Outdoor Centre.
